The beach season is upon us from Lewes all the way south to Fenwick Island, but there is so much more going on beyond the beach. Sussex County offers five state parks to enjoy, the largest of which is Cape Henlopen State Park with more than 5,000 acres.  Other parks include the Delaware Seashore State Park, Fenwick Island State Park, Holt’s Landing State Park on the Indian River Bay and Trap Pond State Park.  There are summer concerts at several of the parks and you can learn more by visiting www.destateparks.com.

The Freeman Stage at Bayside in Selbyville also offers concerts from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The Freeman Stage is an open-air performing arts venue presenting various genres of dance, live music, theatre and children’s programming.  Take a look at the website for upcoming events and to purchase tickets. www.freemanstage.org

Delaware is one of 4 states that offer tax free shopping - meaning no state sales tax.  Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach provides brand name & designer outlet stores in three locations along Rt 1.

Delaware is also known for its low property taxes making real estate purchases a desirable investment.  For assistance with buying or selling a home in Delaware, JoAnn Brandt of EXP Realty can be reached at 302-300-7187 or visit her website at www.DelawareHomes4You.com.
